Cabin Fever

We were able to go up to a cabin in Star Valley a few weekends ago. It was so fun Drake wasn't the best sport about it but you wouldn't be able to tell from these pics! He love the rhino rides but not when it stopped. He hardly slept and was so confused by it all. It was fun to see star valley again because I used to go when I was little with my fam. It is gorgeous there! We found a really neat lake that was so pretty and clear and green. Freezing though! We saw a few deer/bucks but no bears or mooses...sad day ;) but that's ok it was fun to get away and spend time with the fam! The fireworks we got weren't too bad either ;) hehe

Steel Days!!!

These pics are in reverse order but o well...and they are little late coming but I am still catching up! Devin and I took Drake to the af parade and ran into our friends the Ozuna's! It was fun spending time with them and enjoying the parade. That night we went over to Mom and Dad Wilson's for a bbq and to watch the fireworks that were let off at the high school! They were awesome fireworks I loved them! Drake slept through them..crazy kid. Here are just a few pics. I didnt' get too many good ones!

Peyton and Millie

Looks like trouble right?
(I'm thinking he's a firework pyro, if there is such a thing, ha!)

Congrats Miss Jordi!

My best friend Jordan is going on a MISSION!!!! I am so excited for her! She is leaving on Aug 25th to the San Antonio, Texas spanish speaking mission. I am so proud of her and the example she has been to me over the years! She has been the bestest friend anyone could ask for. I will miss her so much but it will be fun to write and hear of her adventures! I was lucky enough to go through the temple with her and experience her going through ;) it was very special and a great experience! Here are a few pics from the temple. Love you Jordi girl! Thanks for all you do ;)

Me and Lass! Miss this girl way too much ;)

Happy Birthday lil' Man!

We are so excited for Drake's birthday this week! Can't believe I had him a year ago...where does the time go? He has grown so much. Some of his latest things..
  • He is now walking, practically running, everywhere!
  • He is so curious and into everything. We now call him a busy body because he only holds still to sleep!
  • He has started to throw CRAZY fits and folds into a 'taco' (Devin's word for it) on the floor when he doesn't get his way!
  • I think he has discovered his face because he pulls the most awkward faces randomly.
  • Definitely a momma's boy and I love it ;)
  • Just recently learned to go up and down the stairs...pretty scary
  • Does not like the pool! I wish he did because that is what we are doing for his birthday so hopefully he will warm up to it. He likes to play on the side and laugh at everyone in the water.
  • He has the funniest laugh and loves to smile.
  • He will clap at mostly everyone and everything.
  • He loves to dance when he heres any kind of music..or I should say noise.
  • He has started to talk and recognize things like blue and mom and dad.
  • He loves his grandparents.

He is so fun and we just love and adore him everyday! We still can't believe he is ours and that he is 1! We love you baby boy ;)

Almost forgot...

I almost forgot Strawberry days! This was the very first parade we went to this year and we loved it. It was fun to go and support our current town! Drake really enjoyed it and kind of got the hang of it...he would start to wave and clap after the floats and things would go by! I just love that kid he is so fun! We also went to the rodeo but I of course forgot my camera in the car ;) Next year I won't forget. It was a lot of fun we went with Devin's sister Marci and her family. All I have to say is that the Strawberries n' cream were DIVINE!!!

Still playin' catch up!

Next up was the Lehi Parade! My friend Brooke let us come sit with her family at her grandma's house on main street lehi! It was a perfect spot and it was so much fun! I love parade's! It was pretty hot but enjoyable my mom even came with us to support her new home town ;)

Playin' catch up!

First off...Lehi Stock Parade! This year we have tried to take advantage of all the free town festivities. We had so much fun and there are so many things you can do. Our friend Halee was nice enough to let Deb and I and our kids come sit with her and her family for the Lehi Stock Parade. I really enjoyed it and all the cute horses...Drake was indifferent ;) Still too young I guess...well here are picks of one of our many adventures this month!
