Our big baby boy!!

Draker is getting so big! I just took him to his two month appointment. He was:

13 lbs 9 oz 90th percentile
24.5 in long 90th percentile
and his head measured in the 90th percentile

He is a giant! We love him so much and can't get enough of him!

Happy September Birthdays!!

Happy Birthday Hubby!! Monday was devin's 24th bday! We both had to work and he had school but we were able to have both families over to celebrate with cake and ice cream! It was so much fun to have everybody over. Thanks everyone for coming. I attempted to make and decorate the cake and it actually tasted pretty good. I may need to work on the decorating part!

Our sweet neice Shaylee had a birthday this month as well! She turned one and is so dang cute! She was a pro at eating her cup cake and ice cream. My sister-in-law Marci made the cutest cupcake cake (if that is what you call it!) and amazing homemade fresh peach ice cream (sounds delicious right? It totally was!) She is so creative and can make and do just about everything!

Blessing Day!!

We blessed Drake this last Sunday and it was such a great day! The blessing was beautiful and he was such a good boy! I'm so blessed and so grateful for my family. Thank you everyone for your help and support! ;)

This was a shot on the way out the door! We were in a little bit of a hurry and I didn't quite get the pic I wanted! We didn't want to be late for his big day ;) My sweet grandma made the blanket and booties for Drake and he wore his uncle Bryan's blessing outfit!

Drake was such a good boy! It was such a fun day to celebrate him! He is so special to us and we love him more than words can describe ;)

Update

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ME! It was my birthday on the 21st. I had such a great birthday! They are always great because my husband and my family make me feel so special! Devin surprised me and took me shopping and to dinner...he is so brave...if any of you have been shopping with me you know I am a HORRIBLE shopper. I struggle I admit. I can never make up my mind and I will go through the store with a hand full of things and only come out of it with one item :) It's frustrating for those with me but my argument is that I saved money by not buying something I didn't love! ha but then I complain I have nothing to wear. It's a no win situation! We had a bbq at my parents the next day. My mom made all my favorite things including homemade ice cream and this awesome cake. She used to always make our cakes and decorate them with what we liked that year when we were younger. It discontinued for a little while but she surprised me this year with the mickey mouse cake. I was shocked. I LOVED it and it tasted delicious. Thanks everyone for making my bday special!!!
