Happy Birthday Paco!

So I'm a little late but my Father's birthday was on the 13th. Having a 7 mo old, dog, job, and other obligations obviously take up most of my time but I wanted to wish him a Happy Birthday! We love you dad and think the world of you! We hope you had an amazing day and we hope you know how much you are loved and appreciated! No one could ask for a better dad and grandpa ;)



Anistyn had to help with the cake of course! She did a great job and likes to help blow out the candles. She came up with a GREAT idea for Paco's(her name for grandpa) birthday.

Drake has gotten a lot bigger lately! He is crawling all over the place and his personality is definitely showing! He loves to laugh and play and smile. We are heading to st george soon and we are really looking forward to our first time swimming! What an adventure that will be!

Moments like these...

I'm sorry that all I post about is Drake, but he is our life and way to cute not to share! ;) It's moments like these that make it so much fun to be a mom! Drake was not wanting to go to bed so I brought him out to Devin while I vacuumed his room really quick...I came out and saw this! Drake was all cuddled up to Devin, holding so still, smiling, watching tv the little stinker! We never thought he was much of a cuddler because he is always curious and squirming around. He must have been really tired. I just watched and teared up at how cute my boys are and how special and fun it is to be a mom to this cute boy! I thank my Heavenly Father everyday for sending Drake to us! What a blessing!

Draker Man!

This is our Draker Man! My good friend Jacquel was so nice to take some pictures for us of Drake being 6 months old and for Valentines Day! They turned out awesome as you can see and it was so hard to just pic a few to post! Jacquel does a great job and is able to create fun things to add a little more to the pictures ;) Her blog is momentsbydesign.blogspot.com. She does an awesome job! Thanks Kel for the cutest pictures ever! It was fun to spend some time with you! You are awesome! Drake was a pretty good sport! His infamous look is the furled eyebrows so that is most of what we got from him...but leave it to mom and jacquel to sing 'ol mcdonald' and do some dancing to get the smiles out of him! What fun! Thanks again Jacquel ;)

6 months!

Our babe is 6 months old already! It is crazy! We are having so much fun with him. His personality is definitely starting to show. He can sit by himself and is starting to scoot. Not to long now and he'll be crawling..ahhh ;) He loves to laugh and be tickled. He says dadada when he is happy and screams mamamam when he is mad! (not fair). He is eating more and more solids everyday and can't get enough..obviously he is huge! He is our little angel! We love him so much. We just recently went to his 6 mon appointment so here are his stats:

18 lbs 12 oz -75 percentile
26 1/2 in - 75 percentile
Head is in the 90th percentile!

Happy New Year!!

For New Year's we were able to go up to Heber and stay a few nights at the Heber Valley Camp with the Wilsons. We went sledding, played games, ate ALOT and just hung out. Mostly I was trying to stay warm and keep Drake warm. Other than that it was so much fun! We had a good time ringing in the new year. Here's to 2010! Happy New Year! (a few days late!)

Ringing in the New Year

Oh yeah to get to our cabin we had to park and pull our things on sleds to get there. You can tell how cold it is in this pic! I was grateful for my new snow boots while making the trek to the cabin! Thanks Lane and Janene it was fun!

We were able to go out to dinner with some friends between Christmas and New Years! It was so much fun. It's sad but we haven't been out for a long time. It was so nice to go eat good food with good company and just enjoy ourselves. Devin's good friend Nate was home from basic for Christmas so we went out with him and his cute wife Jenny and another friend/mission companion Tanner and girlfriend Danielle. It was so fun to see them and the cheesecake wasn't half bad...who am I kidding it was freakin' delicious!!!
